Zoila Munoz, voice instructor

Peruvian-born mezzo-soprano Zoila Muñoz teaches voice at UC Davis and is Artist in residence at Apollo Arts in the Sierra Foothills. She has sung internationally in Opera, Oratorio and Concert in Germany, France, Italy, Belgium and USA.  In Opera, her roles, among others, include Cherubino, Carmen, Rosina, Isabella, and Orfeo. In Concert, she has sung with the American Bach Soloists, Apollo Baroque, San Francisco Bach Choir,  Camellia Symphony, and the Auburn Symphony.  An avid recitalist, she has performed in many languages.  She has taught voice for over 20 years and her students are continuing their education in conservatories around the country, and are pursuing careers in Vocal Performance in different styles from classical, musicals to jazz.  Zoila Muñoz is renowned for her commitment and dedication to her students as well as her passion for the art of singing.
